Prestigious Award for TCG Centurion!

Natascha Aweh - The Computer Guyz’s very own Hirsch Business Woman of the Year 2014 Finalist

We’re tremendously proud to announce that Natascha Aweh of the TCG Centurion office has won the Margaret Hirsch Business Woman of the year finalist award for the month of July. 

As a finalist, Natascha will compete against the other contenders for the coveted title of Margaret Hirsch Business Woman of the year 2014. 

The award is an initiative of Margaret Hirsch to recognize the contribution of women in business around the country and is awarded based upon the finalists’ contribution to not only the business segment as a whole, but also towards community initiatives and social awareness. 

Natascha has headed the office in Centurion for the past three years now and established herself within the Centurion community offering terrific customer service and speedy turnaround times. At the same time, she has become exceptionally active in supporting local initiatives and social causes in the areas surrounding our offices. What adds to the achievement is that during the past year Natascha also acquitted herself extremely well in completing a UCT short course in IT Management part time.

Being a woman in the male-dominated IT industry is a challenge on its own; to receive recognition as a businesswoman as well is truly remarkable. Since her days in the Cape Town office, Natascha has proven her abilities as a support technician, SME infrastructure consultant and server technician. She has taken these same skills to her clients in Centurion and more.

Her current focus is on supporting her clients (mostly via state of the art managed services software) and then gone further in identifying an SME need for top class results in the area of Online Public Relations. Never one for doing things in half measures, Natascha has been running workshops teaching small business owners how to leverage the power of social media and combine it with traditional PR. 

An exciting achievement, opportunity and recognition well deserved!  We look forward to seeing Natascha doing great things in the annual award!
