Say goodbye to rage-clicking with Logitech’s silent mouse

Welcome the Logitech M330 Silent Plus, which has just launched along with the M220 Silent Mouse. They might not be truly silent, but they’re close enough. Logitech claims that both produce 90% less noise than its other mice when you click their buttons.

They’re so quiet, in fact, that the M330 and M220 are the first to receive Quiet Mark certification from the Noise Abatement Society… which is absolutely a real thing. Logitech also says that they both “[protect] the health and productivity of everyone.”

That is, of course, until the user finally snaps and flings the mouse across the office. The danger is you’ll never hear the telltale warning clicks and know to head for cover!

Both the M330 and the M220 are cordless, and both will run for a really, really long time on a single AA battery. The 220 lasts about 18 months and the 330 will keep rolling for two full years.

What about colour choices? There’s only one for the M220 Silent Mouse: basic black. Logitech is making the M330 Silent Plus in additional colours, but they seem to vary based on location. On their German site, there’s a snazzy red number and a vibrant blue. On the U.S. site, there’s just black and a grey/safety yellow combo.
