Cat-Proofing your PC

Our furry feline friends love one thing more than anything else, and that’s to curl up on our keyboards! But, it isn’t good for us, our computers and it can even sometimes be unsafe for our kitties...

Did you know that almost 98% of cat owners say that their cat has accidentally deleted something important when walking across the keyboard?

Here’s how to protect your cat:

-- Tie any loose cords and bundle them together. Use plastic covers, such as a spiral wire wrap tube.

-- Purchase cat repellent and spray any exposed wires. Be careful not to spray on any of your PC openings though.

-- Remove any peripheral devices and put them away.

-- Avoid using printers with rollers that are exposed. These could be dangerous and catch your kitty’s tail!

-- Clean your fan, vents and filters out regularly.

-- Always close your CD and DVD drawers
