      1.       Always shut down your PC

Every night, be sure to actually switch off your computer or laptop. You may be tempted to simply close the top and run out the door, but a full shutdown will help your PC clear all the unnecessary nonsense that has built up in temporary drives. So always shut down your PC to get rid of cached files, temporary downloads, etc. and it’ll run faster the next day.

      2.       Always download software updates

It’s annoying when you have to wait 30 minutes for your OS to update itself, but putting them off will negatively affect your apps and programs as well as delay patches and fixes that may be slowing down your PC. You’re better off just doing the software updates when you first get the notification instead of ignoring them and causing the next update will take even longer.
