How to clean your screen in 10 seconds or less!
You’re watching your favourite TV show, but
instead of concentrating on the moving storyline, you’re focused on all the
fingerprint smudges and dust on the screen. It’s disgusting, but it happens.
When you start to notice the dirt more than the action on the screen then it’s
time to clean up!
Here’s how you can clean your computer,
laptop or TV screen quickly, efficiently and without damaging it…
Get a soft microfiber cloth and dust your
screen off very gently. Be sure to switch your PC or TV off first because it’s
easier to see dust or smudges on a black screen. Do not use paper towels,
toilet paper or tissues! These will only damage your screen and possibly leave ugly
scratches.
If your screen is still dirty, even after you’ve
wiped it, then spritz a tiny bit of water onto your microfiber cloth. Even if
your screen is particularly gross, do not use any cleaners made with alcohol or
acetone. Why? Because these can also damage your screen and even take off the
protective coating.
For the outside of your device, always use
a mild all-purpose cleaner or product that is specifically designed for your
computer, laptop or TV. To get rid of marks, never spray directly onto your
device, as this could cause a lot of damage, rather add a little to your cloth
and wipe gently.
And that’s it! In 10 seconds or less you’ve
got a sparkly clean screen and you can get back to your series without any
distractions!
