7 Things that your kids will never understand because of Tech

Have you ever used the word VCR or CD player around a 12 year old? Chances are they have no idea what you’re talking about!

Here are 12 things that children these days have probably never heard of…

      1.       Physical movies – Remember rewinding your movies? These days it’s all about buffering!

      2.       Record / CD stores – Only others from your time will remember scanning the shelves for the newest NOW CD.

      3.       Phone books – Before smartphones and Facebook, the good ol’ phone book was the only way to get someone’s number.

      4.       Land lines – The kids these days may not believe it but there used to be a time when one house had one phone number!

      5.       Answering machines – Personal voicemails on your answering machine were all the rage back in the 90’s.

      6.       Cameras – Taking photos with an actual camera instead of using your cell phone and then paying money to develop the film!

      7.       Paper maps – Kids these days may not realise, but there was a time before Google Maps.
