The Tago Arc E Ink Customisable Smart Bracelet
If you have been
looking for a state of the art piece of smart jewelry, then you might be
interested in the new E Ink smart bracelet which has been launched over on the
popular Indiegogo crowdfunding website this week.
The smart bracelet,
which takes the form of the Tago Arc, has been designed to provide you with
both a high fashion accessory as well as a smart bracelet which you can use to
express yourself and also keep up-to-date on your social life and
notifications.
The Tago Arc is the
jewelry of the 21st century; it is almost an accessory from the
future. Tech and fashion are blended together into a seamless user experience
that goes way beyond any other wearable tech.
But, what exactly does
this bracelet do?
Basically it is one
premium bracelet with infinite display possibilities. You have the option to
change the image display of the E Ink surface anytime, anywhere, to any design,
pattern or text you want! All you have to do is download the Tago app onto your
smartphone.
So, to be clear, the
twist that Tago has is that it needs and has no on-board battery. The NFC (Near
Field Communication) draws the power it needs for a transfer from the mobile
device’s battery as and when the user is changing the design. When in its
resting display state, E Ink does not draw power so no battery is needed to power
the device at other times – so it’s a battery-free wearable, or that’s the
promise!
Although it is charge
free, the Tago Arc won’t win any speed awards for hoe quickly designs can be transferred
to the bracelet – the process currently takes about 15 seconds – but the team
is promising transfer times will speed up in the finished product.
The bracelet itself is
made from coated surgical stainless steel and you can choose between gold,
silver and black colour options.
So, it you are looking
for a high-fashion bracelet with endless display possibilities and cutting edge
technologies that always matches your mood and outfit, then the Tago Arc E Ink
is perfect for you.
