A 3 step guide on how to easily set up and use Find My iPhone

Oh no, you’ve lost your iPhone AGAIN. If only there was a way to easily locate your device that you know is lying around somewhere. Oh wait, there is a system, but you’re just not using it yet.

Here’s how to set it up so the next time you misplace your phone, or it actually gets stolen, you can find it!

Step 1

What to do: Go into your iPhone Settings and tap iCloud. Look for Find My iPhone, tap into it, then toggle the switch on. That’s it!

Step 2

Now what? The next step is to visit www.icloud.com on your web browser and log into your account (the same username and password for your iTunes account). Click Find My iPhone and a map will pop up showing your iPhone’s location. You can even zoom in on it and tap Play Sound so your phone starts to beep.

Step 3

Found it. It turns out the iPhone was tucked in between the couch cushions the whole time!
