Has your Mobile Phone Been Hacked?
Imagine if a complete stranger had access
to your mobile device, which includes all your private data? All your personal
info, messages, bank details, passwords – completely exposed!
Cybercriminals are constantly finding new
ways to gain access to your device, so in order to keep your device secure you
need to know the signs of a hacked mobile device…
1.
Random Apps. When strange, unfamiliar
apps show up on your mobile device, you could be the victim of a hacker. Once a
cybercriminal takes control of your device, things will start to get out of
control, making everything seem completely out of order. Never just ignore
these changes!
2.
Unexpected Transactions. When a
cybercriminal gains access to your mobile device, they will most likely aim to
steal your payment information. Keep a close eye on your credit card and bank
card transaction, if you detect anything that looks strange, there may be a
hacker at work.
3.
Feel the Heat. Is your phone’s battery
power draining faster than it should? This could either be from an old battery
that needs to be replaced or it is possible that malware is running in the background
without you realising it. Another sign is your mobile device feeling hot, as it
could be infected with malware that is constantly running.
