3 Signs your Cell Phone has been Hacked!

Your cell phone is not only there to make phone calls and send WhatsApp messages, it is also filled with all your private information and data - now just imagine if a complete strange had access to all of it?

Cybercriminals are also discovering new ways to get their hands on your device and confidential information, so in order to keep your device secure, you need to know the signs!

1. Strange Apps. When random, unfamiliar apps start popping up on your cell phone – be aware! This could be a signal that you’ve been hacked. Once you become a victim things will start to get out of control, be sure to never ignore these random changes.

2. Unexpected Transactions. Cybercriminals are usually out there to steal your passwords as well as your payment information. Keep a close eye on your bank card transactions and if you see anything out of the blue, there may be a hacker at work.

3. Feel the Heat. Does your phone’s battery drain a lot faster than it usually does or feel hot when you hold it? This could be a sign of an old battery OR that there is malware on your cell phone without you realising it.
