7 cool new Apple products you might be able to buy this year

It seems Apple is preparing for an extremely busy year. According to all the rumours out there, there are a few new products that are set to come out in 2016, here’s a list of what we can expect Apple to introduce…

  §  iPhone 5se

This phone is rumoured to be 4-inches, but still promises to provide users with more advanced technologies. Spec-wise, the iPhone 5se will reportedly come with the A9 processor which was introduced with the iPhone 6s, an NFC chip for Apple Pay support, barometer tracking, more advanced Wi-Fi and LTE components and so much more! However, there will be no support for 3D Touch.

  §  iPad Air 3

Apple hasn’t updated its iPad Air line since 2014, but many people believe that they’ll introduce a refurbished model this year. Apparently the tablet will have LED flash support and an improved speaker system. Not only that, but rumour says it may feature a 4K display, 4GB of RAM and an even better battery life.

  §  iPhone 7

Of course, the biggest Apple product in 2016 will be the iPhone 7. Not only will it have the standard spec upgrades, but it will introduce a completely new form factor. According to the rumours, the traditional headphone jack will be removed to bring in the device’s lightning port. Removing the headphone jack will not only make the phone thinner, but it will also help keep it waterproof and rustproof. Other reports claim the iPhone 7 will support wireless charging and come with more RAM.

  §  New MacBooks

It’s easy to forget that Apple still has a busy Mac lineup coming in 2016. Folks interested in upgrading will have a lot to look forward to, as sources say that revamped MacBooks will be fitted with Intel SkyLake processors and released in June this year. The processors promise to better the performance by 20% and deliver 30% improvement in the battery life.

  §  Apple Watch 2

There will likely be two Apple Watch updates this year. First of all, Apple will do some updates to the Apple Watch and then we are likely to see a true next-gen Apple Watch later in the year! Some of the rumours say that the device will have more powerful internals, will feature a FaceTime camera and will come in a thinner casing. However, we’ll have to see if the battery life will improve.

  §  MacBook Air

The MacBook Air may or may not be revamped in 2016 with an even thinner form factor. Not only that, but Apple’s MacBook lineup this year may also include a 15-inch model for the first time ever!

  §  Other Products

Of course Apple has many other devices in its product lineup which are likely to not see much of an upgrade in 2016, except for minor spec bumps. These products include the recently updated Apple TV, the iPad Pro and the iMac.
