Robots want to make you a Salad so you don’t have to

The dawn of the robots is here, and they’re coming for your salads!

These highly trained robotic creatures have not only been trained to flip burger patties, but they are now moving on to make healthier meals, such as salads.

Leading this food-making revolution is Chowbotics, a company raising money to develop food service robots. They feel that these robots can be used throughout the food industry in restaurants, cafeterias, hotels, businesses, airports, etc.

Sally, the salad-making robot can uses no less than 20 food canisters filled with different ingredients, making it possible for customers to create over 1000 salad varieties. Who said salads were boring?

There are a few different ways Sally can be used, either inside a kitchen where servers can take the salads out to customers themselves or as a vending machine where users can create their own salads using a touch screen.

And because this salad robot is so awesome, it also counts the exact calories that customers are consuming.
