We will NEVER see a dislike Button on Facebook!

There is one rumour that is never seems to die down, the rumour that Facebook will one day get a dislike button - even though time and time again we are told that there will NEVER EVER be one!

This week rumours started up again when Facebook decided to do a test of how the thumbs down reaction worked inside of Facebook Messenger.

Yes, the test was real but this does by no means mean that we will be getting the actual dislike button. Plus, just think about it, they were simply testing a thumbs down emoji in Messenger which is nothing like the Facebook reactions. So sending a dislike in a private message is completely different than hitting a dislike button on someone’s post.

Mark Zuckerberg has said over and over again that they have never seriously thought about adding the dislike button as it would be too negative and would likely be used for cyber bullying.

Zuckerberg wants Facebook to be a place without all the trolling and negativity, so disliking is definitely NOT part of the vision.

Sorry all you haters out there, you will never see a dislike button on Facebook!
