Which Characters are in your Office?

Every office worker knows the about the typical characters in the office environment, ranging from the kitchen slob to the workaholic.

Take a look at these office characters and see if you’re one of them!

Mr. Passive Aggressive

They will never complain openly about someone but can’t help commenting on how late they worked last night or how much work they have to do. They’re also the ones who leave annoying notes on everything such as “be considerate and refill the kettle” etc.

Mr. Backstabber

They pretend to be your best buddy long enough to steal your ideas or complain about you to the boss. You may notice them watching you from afar and next thing you know they have a new office and a raise.

Mr. Slob

This co-worker eats their stinky fish sandwich in the middle of the office, or warms up their scrambled eggs in the microwave. They tend to leave a stench and a mess everywhere they go, from coffee spills on the counter and old food in the fridge to dirty dishes in the sink and month old used Tupperware at their desk.

Mr. Chatterbox

Most of the people in the office will avoid this person. Why? Because once they open their mouth to tell you a story you know you’re going to be tortured for a good 30 minutes. Even if you’re not listening, Mr. Chatterbox will continue to talk!

Mr. Delegator

They’re always telling you what to do, but they never seem to do any actual work of their own. They walk around the office giving people tasks and for some strange reason your boss thinks they have amazing skills.

Mr. Workaholic

Always the last person to leave the office and the first one there in the morning, they’re usually very aggressive and volatile. Because of this they usually tend to look down on co-workers that actually have a life.

Mr. Noisy

This person may not realise how annoying they’re being or they just don’t care! They make noises like humming, whistling, tapping their feet and singing, as well as refusing to put their phone on silent and listening to music with no headphones.

Mr. Gossiper

Even though most of the stories turn out to be untrue, the office gossiper loves sharing the latest scandal. They will spend the day discussing a co-workers dying marriage, everyone’s salaries and who’s going to get fired next.

Mr. Ambitious Intern

At first they seem great; they’re bringing you coffee and working hard. However soon they start popping up at your desk every few minutes. They become more of a headache than a help and you’ll start praying that their internship ends soon.

Mr. Downer

All they do is complain about co-workers, how much they work and the management in the office. They’ve probably worked at the office for many years and will never, ever leave.

Mr. Over Share

This co-worker has no filter at all. They find you and tell you stories about embarrassing health problems, private details about their girlfriend and are always sharing their drama with everyone around them.
