Learners can go on an expedition and study the environment around them without leaving the classroom.

With the power of Nearpod VR, learners can visit faraway places from the classroom. Send them to the Egyptian pyramids, the Louvre museum in Paris or Yosemite National Park – and these are just a few of the options! This is a great way to add context to existing learning experiences, plus many of these Virtual Field Trips are free.

These three tools are just a handful of new applications coming into the classroom to enhance student learning using virtual environments. Now students can not only consume, but create Virtual Reality content and share it with others!
