MSN.com’s major makeover
Microsoft is definitely not pulling back on its MSN web
portal, visit MSN.com and check it out, it’s had a complete extreme makeover!
We live in a world where mobiles come first, and Microsoft
has revamped MSN to relate to majority of the users who read news on their
smartphones and tablets rather than on their computers. If you think about it the
new MSN actually resembles Windows a lot, the look is cleaner, crisper and not
cluttered, it allows you to personalize what you see; if you’re interested in
celebrity news but not food and travel, you can easily add, remove and shuffle
different sections. If you visited the MSN portal right now you would see that
at the top of the homepage there is a “service strip” that can give you easy
access to your Outlook.com email, maps, Skype and also popular social sites
such as Twitter and Facebook.
An amazing improvement is that if you have the MSN app on
your phone or tablet you have the ability to sync across all your devices,
whether you’re saving a recipe or booking flights on your desktop computer, it
will automatically appear on your MSN app.
It seems that the main goal Microsoft had was to make
browsing easier and help you complete many of your daily tasks by creating a
site that is kind-of like a web-based desktop. Utilize shopping lists, symptom
checker or a 3D body explorer, it’s all possible on the new MSN web portal, and
it is available for preview right now!
