If you’re an owner of an Apple iPhone, the amazing iOS 8
update is finally here, but you probably already know that and have downloaded
the update already. The iOS 8 has plenty of great features, but not all of them
are very obvious, here are the five favourite hidden upgrades iOS 8 has to offer you!

This new update allows you to single out which apps are sucking up all your battery power; you can then decide which ones need to go in order to preserve your battery life! Follow these steps:
- Go to “General” in Settings menu
- “Usage”
- then access “Battery usage”
- a list of you apps will appear and show how much battery they are using

HealthKit
HealthKit has a surprising new upgrade; it can be used in times when there is a medical emergency. If someone has collapsed or is involved in some kind of medical emergency and you’re not sure what the problem is, here’s what to do:
- swipe right on their iPhone lock screen (you don’t need to unlock it)
- tap “Emergency”
- then tap “Medical ID” which will bring up their general health and medical details

Some say it is a timesaver, but do you ever find the suggestion bar annoying when you’re typing a message? Well, now you have the option to get rid of it when it gets in your way! This is how to do it:
