The Kisai Link Bluetooth Bracelet
Tokyoflash is known
for making the kind of smart watches that all geeks love. These watches usually
have dials and gadgets that require you to be a genius just to be able to tell
the time. However, this time around Toykoflash is going the opposite route.
They have created a smart band that is totally not geeky at all – the KisaiLink.
Sometimes you don’t
want a wearable on your wrist that has millions of different apps, sometimes
you just want something simple that will give you a little buzz if something
needs your attention, and then look pretty when you’re not using it.
So, the Kisai Link is
a line of Bluetooth bracelets that steers clear of the boring silicone bands
that have been the norm of this generations wearables. The great thing about
the Kisai Link is how many design options you can choose from – it’s available
in 28 different styles! You can choose anything from genuine leather straps and
metal link bands to braided rayon and woven cotton along with a selection of
different beads, stones and a variety of different colours.
What does the Kisai Link do?
Well, it is basically just a wrist band
that gives you notifications. When a message, email or phone call comes through
on your phone the Kisai Link will light up and vibrate! You can even set what
notifications to include from the app. Each bracelet includes Bluetooth 4.0,
five different vibration patterns, three-coloured LEDs, wireless charging that
takes 90 minutes for a full charge and a battery that can last up to five days.
The Kisai will also give you a little buzz if you walk out of range of your
smartphone, and can ping your smartphone if you’ve lost in somewhere in the
vicinity.
The bracelet has plenty of great designs
and looks, although it doesn’t appear to be waterproof or water-resistant. The device
itself tends to be quite a bit bigger than the beaded bracelets and cords in
the collection, but luckily it can be hidden away on the underside of the wrist
and doesn’t add to much weight – it’s certainly lighter than your average
smartwatch!
