The world’s most advanced gaming mouse
As games have become
more advanced and graphic resolution has become more realistic, so has the need
for a better gaming mouse. For serious PC gamers, an accurate and sensitive
mouse is vital, and one brand has been on top of all gaming gear from the
beginning – Razer.
Razer has just
announced the latest device in the colourful Chroma line of accessories, the
updated Mamba mouse! It’ll come in both standard and tournament editions, with
the most accurate laser tracking ever built into a computer mouse.
Quite simple, it is
the most highly specified gaming mouse on the planet. It is a wireless device with an astonishing 1
millisecond response time, and it has the world’s first 16,000 DPI laser
sensor.
The sensor can track
in increments as small as one DPI for ultra-precise movements. Most gaming
mouse devices can only track down to 50 DPI. Having 16,000 DPI means that it is
more than accurate to keep the controller moving as accurately and smoothly as
needed for the new generation of gaming.
Another cool feature
is that the new Mamba has a 0.1mm lift off instead of the 1mm lift off a gaming
mouse would usually offer. That means you can be more precise even if you are
prone to lifting your mouse instead of sliding it.
Being part of Razer’s
Chroma lineup means you’ll get customizable lighting on the mouse. There are two
bands of LEDs down the sides of the mouse that can be lit with 16.8 million
different colours. If you have another Chroma product like the Firefly mouse pad (goes great with the mouse), the lighting will synchronize to display the
same colours!
Razer is also
implementing a feature in the Mamba called Click Force. It allowed you to actually
set the amount of pressure required for the left and right mouse buttons. Maybe
you want a very light press on the left button, but a normal amount of force
for the right click. There are 9 buttons total on the mouse.
The Mamba’s smoothness and speed is simply
quite stunning, plus everyone loves an LED light or two. This gaming mouse will
blow any former mouse out of the water.
