10 Top Tips to make your Smartphone Battery Last Longer
Most of us rely on our smartphones for just
about everything nowadays, so when you see that your battery is dying, an
immediate feeling of dread sets in.
What will you do when it is flat? You’ll be
stuck with no connection to work, no GPS, no WhatsApp, no phone calls and no
posting on social media! Before you get yourself into a tizz, consider these 10
top tips to make your battery last a whole lot longer.
Don’t quick charge. Some smartphones can
re-charge faster when they’re plugged into a more powerful charger, but this
can really damage the battery life in the long run. When you charge your phone
rather use a good old regular charger, it’ll stay charged for longer and extend
the battery life over time.
Avoid 0%. Despite what you may think,
studies show that allowing the battery to die down to 0% can actually really
damage it and its ability to hold a charge.
Never let it get too hot. Always avoid
leaving your smartphone in direct sunlight or in a hot area such as in your car
or outside. When the battery gets too hot it can cause permanent damage and you’ll
probably have to buy a new one.
