A Keyboard with a Fingerprint Sensor?

Imagine a keyboard where there is a fingerprint scanner is built right into it? Pretty futuristic, right? Well, Microsoft is introducing two new Surface accessories, the Modern Keyboard and the Modern Mouse.

The Modern Keyboard’s fingerprint scanner feature is a bit similar to the Apple MacBook Pro, with its reader built directly into the keyboard; in fact the scanner looks the same as any other key on the keyboard.

To log into your surface device and simply scan your finger on the key in between the Alt and the Ctrl keys on the keyboard – it’s that easy!

The company has apparently called the Modern Keyboard an indestructible device with a range of great features; here are just a few of them…
