Get rid of your neck pains for good with this amazing wearable

You probably know all about the pains that come with owning a smartphone or a laptop. Your neck, your back and your shoulders suffer from hours of being hunched over your devices.

A Korean startup, NAMU, is dedicated to fixing this problem. However they don’t just want to correct the problem, they want to track it! ALEX is the posture wearable that they created that is able to check your posture throughout the day and log your progress.

This personal posture device is a rectangular black device that sits at the back of your neck right below your hairline. It stays in place by hooking onto your ears with flexible silicon legs.

If you change to a poor position for more than a few minutes ALEX will vibrate to notify you to readjust yourself.

On the mobile app side, the wearable allows you to customize the length and the vibration intensity. The app also monitors your posture in real time, tracking the angle of your neck and the position of your head relative to your body, which you can see in “avatar” mode.

NAMU hopes to start production on the ALEX and deliver the product to campaign in May this year.
