Do we have too much tech in our lives?

Is there a constant beeping, buzzing and flashing of digital devices around you? Phones, tablets, laptops, watches, computers and very soon the internet of things (a proposed development of the Internet in which everyday objects have network connectivity, allowing them to send and receive data), all of us have at least three of these things or maybe all of them, is this simply too much?

All these items have one thing in common; they’ll all at heart computers. Different speeds, sizes and memory capacity, but they are all computers and they can do a lot more than you think. Technology has greatly improved over the years, but all this has inflicted on our overall productivity, creativity and relationships.

Do we really realize how addicted we are? Many of us have a laptop, smartphone and a tablet, the only basic difference between our smartphone and our tablet is the screen size. So why do you have the tablet at all? Why do you have to use it at all?

We all love our gadgets, and you can probably admit that you can’t get enough of them, but some of us don’t use them to their full potential and then there really is no point to having them around.

With all this constant technology surrounding us, the first warning sign is the sense of having too much going on that constantly requires your attention. We have to recognize that there might be a problem with too much technology in our lives.

Your overall goal should be to gain control over your life and how you use your devices, do we control technology or does it control us? Our gadgets are almost like puppies or newborn babies, they always there nagging you for attention, but you need to know when to say no and take back control.

Yes, we do have too much technology and it is damaging us and the world around us, we all as the human race are addicted to technology, we can never have too much technology in our lives and it has grown to be quite a problem.
